The vision of Daystar is to light the fire of God's abundant love inside of our children's hearts here and to see that spread all over the world. The goal of the Elijah School is to raise up a generation who is consumed with their God....children who grow up knowing that God is good, and God's heart is always good towards them.
Our children will be learning about God in rotation of three classes called: INWARD, OUTWARD & UPWARD.
What to expect... The Inward class is a focus of God's heart toward each one of us, the Outward class is God's heart through each one of us to our communities and the nations, and Upward is a focus on our hearts toward God, in thankfulness & adoration. Classes are taught by Elijah School staff and also guest speakers who are members of Daystar.
INWARD The Inward class is a look inward to our own personal relationship with God. What helps us to become close to Him? What keeps us away from Him? What is He really like and why is it important that we know Him anyway? These are the kind of questions that the Inward class is designed to explore. Each week a Bible passage will be read and discussed as well as a short teaching time. The goal of this class is helping to facilitate growth and depth in each child's relationship with God.
OUTWARD The Outward class is focused on cultivating God's heart inside of each child for their own community as well as for the nations. They will be learning about the cultures around them, nations around the globe, as well as the seven mountain revelation. The point of this class is to help the children see and know that they can carry God's solutions into their everyday lives and at the same time carry His solutions to cause transformation in the nations.
UPWARD Upward is meant to be an experience more so than a class. Our focus is adoration of the Lord, spending time with Him and having fun with those around us as we enjoy His presence. What does an encounter with God feel like? What does God sound like when He speaks to us? After that we might dance to a few worship songs, pray for a nation, do prophetic art or do something completely unexpected. It just depends on what the Lord does. This class is a focus on flowing with Holy Spirit...helping the children to recognize Him, adore Him and move with Him.
